The MXLR FlexBumper is 3D printed from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) for optimal stability and flexibility.

What are the advantages over a simple foam rammer?
- Impacts are better absorbed and less strongly transmitted to the chassis
- Overall more robust and stable
- The deformation is elastic, ie the rammer returns to its original state and does not drag on the ground after an impact
- Significantly improved appearance

The FlexBumper for the Tamiya TRF421 is a direct replacement for the kit bumper.
It is still possible to use the Tamiya body position adjustment. The bumper is a little longer at the back than the original to provide better support.
The height is lower than the original to save weight.  Additional MX logos show the proud origins of an original.
Please keep in mind that the bumper has the same shape as the original bumper. Unlike the original bumper, however, its shape is not easy to modify. It only fits under bodies where the original bumper would fit without any modification.
